Interference is a group centred around singer-songwriter, poet and painter Fergus O’Farrell and cross all rock/folk/traditional divides with their string driven hypnotic sound.

O'Farrell also widely collaborates, and has shared the stage with artists such as; Black, Camilla Griehsel, Maurice Seezer, Gavin Friday, Paul Tiernan, David Bickley, Glen Hansard, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Nina Hynes, Mundy and Paul Griffin.

Many Interference songs are written with lyricist Malcolm MacClancy and for the past few years O’Farrell has also been playing with the West Cork based group DogTail Soup.
