Favourite Sons are an indie rock band from New York, USA.

In early 2005 Favourite Sons released a four-song single in Europe entitled Treason, and with less than 10 official gigs played the band supported the release of this EP with a tour of Europe.

In 2006 their debut album Down Beside Your Beauty was released and in the following year the band toured the US with Au Revoir Simone and Voxtrot.

Most recently in late 2010 the band confirmed that they have recorded a new album, yet to be released and entitled The Great Deal Of Love, which features 12 new songs, written and recorded by the band over the last two years.
